I have tried compatibility mode with other Windows version with no success. Are you saying the software provided is not compatible with Win10?

Yes, we have not yet guarantee this software to work on Windows 10. The software that comes with this board is designed to work on Windows XP or earlier. So, we recommend to keep running the software in later compatibility mode. We'll just keep you posted if there will be an updated version.

May I know what type of connector did you used? The software with this board only works through the parallel port (36 pin connector). The evaluation board should be powered up before a cable is connected.

I have used the serial cable with the evaluation board powered up. The problem is that the software is not even starting and gives error 48 at launch. Is that expected if the evaluation board is not connected to the parallel port?

Hi,

Yes, the software will not work with the serial port (9 pin connector) as it is intended to allow the customer to interface to another system or board using their own software. Please use the parallel (36 pin connector) port.
