RDC Binary data to Degree Conversion

Dear All,

I am new to Resolver to Digital Converter(RDC) domain and I have designed RDC using AD2S80A. I am not sure how to convert the binary data to degree. I have gone through the Binary weighted table given in the datasheet and not able to understand much out of it. In my design I have made BYTE SELECT pin high and getting data on D1 to D16 bit, where if I am correct as per the datasheet D16 bit is LSB and D1 is MSB. Kindly confirm?

For example, what will the binary data for 47 degree. Kindly describe the procedure how to convert the data.  

Kindly provide help on this issue ASAP.

    Hi Eashwar,

    Correct MSB is DB1 in the parallel interface and LSB is DB16 in the parallel interface. In the angular position one LSB represents 360 degrees divided by the number of codes. For example at 16 bits each code represents approximately 0.0055, so in a  47 degrees position divided by LSB this is ~8556 then convert it to binary to get the binary data or refer to Bit Weight Table.
