I need to sample the analog output of TCD1304，the ouput frequency is (Typ 0.5MHz，Max 1MHz)，and the voltage is 1.5v ~ 3.5v.
The ADC resolution i need is 16Bits. But i don't know how to determine the sample rate. Please help me.

According to Nyquist theory, the sampling rate should be at least twice the input frequency. Here are some of the articles that best explains about sampling. MT-002 and AN-282. The ADCs I have mentioned have tested the performance in different conditions in specified input frequency. Like the SNR for example, they were specified to use Fin = 2.4Mhz for AD7626 at 89dBFS.

Sorry for bothering you again. I now have an AD9826 in hand, i am not sure weather it can be used. So what's your opinion?
