I know the LTC1407-1 is fully specified up to the maximum throughput/channel of 1.5 MSps. Would there be any drawback in performance if it were pushed to 1.536 MSps?
LTC1407-1

The LTC1407-1/LTC1407A-1 are 12-bit/14-bit, 3Msps ADCs with two 1.5Msps simultaneously sampled differential inputs. The devices draw only 4.7mA from a...

The LTC1407-1 is tested at 1.5Msps and is guaranteed to work over its specified temperature range and process variations at that sample rate. Using the ADC at 1.536Msps especially over a reduced temperature range, it would almost certainly function but the level of performance at that sample rate cannot be guaranteed.
