BIA measurements with AD5941

Hi. 

The hardware you need is EVAL-AD5940BIOZ. This is the board designed for Bio-impedance measurements. Refer to AN-1557 for details on setting up the measurement. EVAL-AD5941ARDZ is not suitable for BIA as it does not include the protections components required to comply with IEC60601 and does not have correct connections from the cable to the pins on the AFE.

So, with the EVAL-AD5941ARDZ board I can't measure the value of a resistance?
My intention was to connect the four crocodile wires (S+ green, S- blue, F- black and F+ red) to a 1kohm resistance and measure its value with SensorPal.
By connecting the S+, F+ wires to one terminal of the resistance and the S- and F- wires to the other terminal it is not possible to obtain the value of this resistance with SensorPal?

With EVAL-AD5941ELCZ you can measure the value of a resistance but you cannot perform a BIA measurement. Refer to the user guide here

The problem I have is that when I connect the alligator cables to a 1kohm resistance as shown in the user guide, and I make the measurement with the SensorPal, I get a result with a magnitude of 18300 ohm (same value as if I make a measurement without connecting the cables to any resistance).

Does anyone know why I get these values?

Have you set the switches JP10 and JP11 to position C?

I have made these modifications and it has worked partially, with this configuration I can measure the resistance value through SensorPal if I use the Impedance measurements, but my intention is to do the same using the Body Impedance measurements. I don't know if this is possible with the devices I have but I would like to know if it could be done with the Body Impedance measurements.

This is not possible with EVAL-AD5941ELCZ. EVAL-AD5940BIOZ is designed specifically for body impedance measurements.
