PGA for AD7768-1

Hello,

I have to measure +/-10V single ended signals up to 200kHz with the AD7768-1 (24bit resolution, 512ksps).

Now, my customer asks for a PGA with gain = 1, 2 and 4.

Which signal conditoning solution do you suggest that maintains the noise and distortion levels of the AD7768?

    with 512 ksps the option available is a SINC5 filter whose BW is given by 0.204*512 k = 104 KHz.

    Meanwhile i will get back on the scheme

    thank you for this hint. So I will increase the sample rate to 1Msps to achieve 200kHz, no problem.

    I am aware of the fact that the AD7768-1 will reduce its output data to 16 bit at 1Msps, this is ok for my customer.

    This means that the analog signal conditioning, inculding the PGA, shall provide SND and THD values good enough to preserve the ADCs performance from DC to 200kHz input frequency.

    I am looking forward to your suggestions.
