AD7656 and AD7657

Hi There,

How are you? I am working on a design that involves the ADC chip AD7657. But this part is not no longer on stock on neither DK or Mouser, but I found AD7656 available on  LCSC Electronics. Can I use AD7656 as a replacement of AD7657? What is the differnece between the two?

Thanks in advance.

    Alex,

The AD7656 is a 16-bit version that is pin compatible with the AD7657.   Have you considered the AD7657-1?   I am actually looking into the demand side internally to understand the situation to see if we shouldn't be recommending a more modern part for you in the future.  For now you could try ordering from Arrow as they appear to have 256 pieces available.
