Our customer wants to using 2*AD7768-4, like below structure.They wants to reach 256KSPS in this structure.
After check the datasheet, If we using SYNC_IN, AD7768-4 will going to one shot mode. the sample time will influence by SYNC_IN frequency and tSettle.
Could you please help to check is this structure can output data to 256KSPS or do you have any suggestion for this application? Thank you.
It is possible to reach 256kSPS if the AD7768-4 is configured as you have shown in the diagram. SYNC_IN should be supplied at the start of the conversion process. Only two SYNC_IN pulses are required. After this data is automatically output at the selected rate. (Using SYNC_IN does not set the AD7768-4 into one-shot mode, it must be selected in the Data Control register.)
In this structure,Could you please provide the timing diagram for us? Because we don't know the /SYNC_IN need pulse every sample or just one pulse before we wants transform data?
