Can't Run AD7124 Eval Software

Hi,

Have you installed the software properly? Can you try to reinstall the software EVAL+Software and follow the installation procedure in AD7124 User Guide UG855? May I know also what is your operating system?

I tried this 3 times. As I stated previously everything worked fine before my hard drive was reimaged. (As a side note the reimaging fixed a problem which was preventing LTspice from running.) After researching the error online I think the .NET framework with Windows 10, version 4.7, is not compatible with the software.

Yes. The OS is Win10 and they also re-install, but it still have problem. Thanks.

Are you using the latest version of the software? Please see link below.

 I think the issue with Windows 10 have fixed in the newest version. We are able to install and run on Windows 10 without the .Net V3.5 installed.

Apologies. Are you referring to AD717x Eval+ software? If that's the case you can download the software from this link https://www.analog.com/media/en/evaluation-boards-kits/evaluation-software/AD717x_Eval_V3.1.3.4.zip

Have you followed the installation guide shown on any AD717x evaluation board user guide? Can you try to uninstall the software, restart your PC and try to install again.

If you are using Windows 8/10 please follow the guide below and see if this helps.

1.Install Eval+ software from website (get error from SDP installer saying v3.5 was not installed)
2.Download SDP driver from ftp://ftp.analog.com/pub/PSA_Support/SDP/Release/SDPDrivers.exe and run installer
3.Install v3.5 Framework ( This requires an internet connection )a.Press the Windows key on your keyboard, type "Windows Features", and press Enter. The Turn Windows features on or off dialog box appears.

4.Select the .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) check box, select OK, Windows will download and install the relevant files. Then reboot your computer if prompted.
5.Connect the SDP board and allow Windows to install drivers.
6.Run Eval+ software
