AD7768 in place of AD7761

Question

Hey everyone, 
 
 I just want to check. I've got a PCB laid out and I'm using the AD7761. I want a higher bit ADC and want to know if I can swap out the AD7761 for a AD7768. In other words are these ADC's identical in operation,size, pinout etc. Except that the AD7768 is 24 bit and the AD7761 is 16 bit? 
 After going through the datasheet they seem to be, but I just want to double check so that If I swap them out, they work.

Hi, 
 Yes, AD7761 is a 16 bit version of AD7768 which is a 24 bit ADC. These parts are from the same family and the majority of behavior is the same. The evaluation boards are also identical, so in terms of hardware I would say yes you can replace it but in terms of data processing of course you have to consider that they are different in terms of resolution.
