Can anyone help me to clarify how to configure LTC2380-24 with distributed read to averaging 8 conversions, at 2MHz sample rate? I'm a little unclear that during distributed read, when there is 0 SCK rising edge between two BUSY HIGH, does the new conversion get averaged or not.
In another word, will the timing diagram shown below work?

Another question popped into mind. Can SCK read extended into the time period when BUSY is high?
Toggling the SCK line during the time BUSY is high can corrupt the conversion data and is not recommended.
On page 22 of the data sheet it shows the sck can be toggled between the falling edges of the busy signal (including when its high)
If this is not true shouldn't the line start at the falling edge and end on the rising edge of the busy.
SCK should be toggled only after BUSY has fallen. The data sheet states that During power-down, data from the last conversion can be clocked out. Power-down occurs after BUSY goes low. Clocking out data during a conversion can potentially corrupt the result of that conversion.
OK, can make sure i only clock out data when BUSY is low, at the moment i'm still clocking out the last bits of data when BUSY has risen and thats the reason whey i'm getting errors.
