We would expect the current flowing (or not) in the termination resistors to have a larger effect on thermal performance. The DAC is always producing the same amount of output current, steering between the two outputs. The results is that the power dissipation is not directly impacted by the specific input code. The clock and output signal frequencies will have a larger impact on the die temperature than any static code at the input.
