AD9166(AD9164): FFH NCO switching speed

Question

Hello,

I have a customer's question about the NCOs' switching speed in the AD9164.
Please tell me how long it takes to switch to the specified NCO after setting register 0x800[4:0] from SPI.
I understand that it takes another 48 sample clocks after the NCO is switched for the output signal to change.

Yes, there is a 48 sample clock delay in the pipeline. Add SPI write time to that (depends on SPI speed) and you have the total delay from SPI write to output change.)
