I'd like to synthesize a broadband signal up to 500 MHz. I want to use only one DAC. I assume I'd have to use JESD204 Mode 15/16 and Modulator Switch Mode 2, but the datasheets shows an example, where there are two converters (M=2) in Table 13., which in this case I assume mean to DACs. Is it possible to route all the samples to one converter or should I leave half the frame empty? Maybe there is something else I'm missing.
