Hello. Which DSP Can I interface AD9777 DAC with? Are there any suggestion?
And can I interface this AD9777 DAC with ADAU1450 DSP?
Thanks in advance

Hi FELM ,
Thank you for your interest in AD9777.
Could you add more details on what you want to achieve so we can understand better?
Best regards,
Peevee
I am designing a software defined radio.
So basically am in need of ADCs, DSPs, DACs, modulators etc.
I noticed that AD9777 DAC is 16 bit which would work for me even though I would have preferred a higher resolution DAC.
ADAU1450 DSP is a 16 bits, 24 bits and 32 bits DSP.
I am thinking of interfacing the two but I am not sure if it will work.
I am basically asking if these two chips can be interfaced, and if not, what options do I have for DSPs that can be interfaced with AD9777 DAC.
Thanks in advance
Hi FELM,
I'm not sure about the DSP chip. But as long as you are able to provide the necessary data inputs for the AD9777 I think its possible.
You may try to ask here in one the forums from DSP -> (+) Processors and DSP - EngineerZone (analog.com)
I think someone would be able to answer you questions better there.
Best regards,
Peevee
