    I've installed the ACE package and said "yes" and "install" to every question the installer asked.
    

    Still, Windows 10 device manager shows the AD9174-FMC-EBZ USB connection has no associated driver.
    

    Also, ACE does not connect to the AD9174-FMC-EBZ.

      Hello,
      

      Have you had an older version of ACE previously installed on your machine? Sometimes when installing a newer version some older drivers can cause issues. Have you tried running a scrub uninstall and reinstalling the latest available version? To confirm, you are not seeing the evaluation board appear under ADI Development Tools in the device manager, correct?         No I have not. New computer, new install. And it is not showing up with an associated driver.
        

        Anyway, I've "solved" that issue by dumping the ACE package altogether and writing up my own USB-to-SPI dongle and programming the AD9174 myself "bare bone". Was not a simple start but necessary anyway sooner or later.
