AD9177 Rise Time

Question

Hi there 
 I want to know the switching characteristic output rise time from 10% to 90% for the AD9177. It is not shown in the datasheet. Also, when I try to find the EVM, notice that the EVM for AD9177 is for AD9081 as well. Do you have a specific EVM for AD9177, or they are essentially the same thing? Kind regards Rory

Hello, The AD9177 is a DAC Only version of the AD9081 hence one can easily configure the AD9081 to operate in Transmit Mode only via software as shown below. With regard to rise and fall time question, these devices are optimized/specified for communication applications where AC frequency domain specifications are used to characterize its performance. Also the rise/fall times (as well as settling time) is also sensitive to the loading or output impedance at the DAC output. Regards)
