Hi all

I look to buy a DAC with at least 200MHz output frequency

So I have a question about the Eval AD9744, when I checked the datasheet in tab.2 I am not sure that I achieve 200MHz as output frequency

DAC clk is F(clock) ?? and F(out) is the output frequency???

Thank you for your interest in AD9744.

Yes, you are correct. The DAC clk is Fclk and Fout is the output frequency. We usually recommend getting a DAC with a sampling rate (Fclk) at least 4x the desired Fout. In your case, a minimum sampling rate of 800MSPS.

Please can check AD9787 (14 bit 800MSPS DAC) if it would meet your requirements. You could also check out other HSDAC selection from this link.
