Question about AD9751's Iout is a of about 0.5V when power on.

I'm using the AD9751.

As shown in the figure below, Iouta(43-pin) voltage of about 0.482V is output from power on to before control and operates normally.

Is there any way to avoid the above?
Or is it inevitable?

AD9751 IC Settings
- PLL DISABLED MODE
- INPUT MODE: PORT1
- SINGLE ENDED OUTPUT

We look forward to your support.

Thank you.

  • Hello Justin,

Thanks for sharing your schematic. What is the output amplitude that you are targeting? AD9751 has an output compliance of -1V to 1.25V and IoutFS*Rload should be within this range. At 20mA, I would suggest an rload of 50 ohm for 1V or 62.5 ohm for the max 1.25V.

As for the momentary change in IoutA after power up, you are correct, this is inevitable for this part.

    Many Thanks,
    Lorenz
