LT2620 Digital Input Levels

Hello,

I would like to supply the LTC2620 with a VCC= 3.3Volt.

What is the the "Digital Input High Voltage" value for VCC=3.3Volt? Is it 2.0 Volt or 2.4Volt?

It is not very clear from the datasheet (table on pg.4), because the two given conditions are overlapping.

Thanks.

Best Regards

D

  • Not a typo, but it could be clearer. For VIH: 2.0V will be considered ‘H’ if Vcc<=3.6V. If Vcc > 3.6V, you’ll have to use a logic high of at least 2.4V. I think we were trying to show that 2.4V would be acceptable for any Vcc, but should have made the upper condition ‘3.6V to 5.5V’ to avoid confusion.

VIL is similar: “0.6V logic low is acceptable for any Vcc”. Probably that 2nd condition for VIL would be clearer as ‘Vcc = 2.5V to 4.5V’ rather than 2.5V to 5.5V.
