AD9106-EBZ VISA Commands used by SPI Program

Would it be possible to obtain information on the actual VISA commands used by the DAC Evaluation Software SPI program? I would like to manually send commands via USB to the AD9106-EBZ evaluation board using Python as opposed to the SPI software.

Alternatively, if this information is not available, is it possible to send SPI commands directly to the AD9106 using the XP3 pins on the evaluation board? From what I can tell by looking at the schematic, these pins are directly connected to the SPI pins of the AD9106, but I am not sure if the USB interface being present prevents you from sending SPI signals through these pins or not.

    Hi,

    Yes, you can control the chip by connecting your controller to XP3, RESETB pin and TRIGGERB pin.
    Here are hardware changes you can make to do so:

    1. Disconnect XJP1, XJP3, XJP4, XJP5.
    2. Remove R2. You may solder a wire to connect RESETB pin to your controller board.
    3. Disconnect pins 2 and 3 of JP1 and connect to TP30 to control TRIGGERB.
