We require multiple High speed DACs in our design. We are performing IQ modulation at the FPGA itself.
So can I use I and Q lines of dual DACs as two separate DAC modules thereby reducing number of DAC chips.
We are planning to use Interpolation DACs (AD9125) for our requirement. But these DACs seem to have inbuilt NCO and Mixer modules which combines both I and Q lines for their operation. In this case can we use these DACs for our application. Is there any option to bypass these modules in the DAC.
As long as you don't use the NCO, you can configure the AD9125 to operate as two separate DACs.
