AD9102 OUTPUT SWEEPING SINE WAVE

hi.

I want to output sweeping sine frequency in TTL voltage levle using AD9102. The datasheet is so vague that i can just output constant voltage.Is there anyone who can help me fix this:

Output frequency range: 20kHz to 30kHz, 1kHz step;

Number of cycles:10 cycles/frequency point.

                                                                            Best regards!

  • Hi -

    The AD9102 output is a current up to 8ma. The output compliance range is -0.5V to +1.0V. The maximum output voltage of the AD9102 is AVDD + 0.3V. To get to TTL levels you would need to follow the AD9102 with an amplifier.

    You can use the SRAM to store a list of tuning words for the on chip DDS. The tuning resolution of the DDS is 10.8hz at 180Mhz CLKP/CLKN.

    Thanks,
