AD9125 Image Rejection

Hello All,

One of my customers is designing RF transmitter by using AD9125 DAC.

His baseband frequency bandwidth is 26.6 to 45.6MHz.

Output RF signal should be 76MHz to 95MHz.

Clock frequency is 121.6MHz.

HB1 Control register is set as 10 (0.6 to 1.4 of 121.6MHz)

He tried to remove image band, 148.2MHz to 167.2MHz by HB2, however, ho couldn’t find good register setting.

Could you advise us how to remove the image frequency of 148.2MHz to 167.2MHz?

Thank you for your help.

Best Regards,

Ricky

  • Hi All,

I have attached the frequency map which is sent from my customer.

The original frequency component is 26.6MHz to 45.6MHz FM signal.

He would like to get 76MHz to 95MHz FM signal by using AD9125.

He only use single channel and will not use internal mixer, just use interpolator and DAC.

He has trouble to setting the HB1, HB2 and HB3  for obtaining 76MHz to 95MHz frequency component.

Could you anybody help me about this issue?

    Best Regards,

    Ricky
