AD9106 Calibration

It's been two weeks, are there no answers for these?

It has been another month!  Is anyone from AD going to answer this?

Hi -

1. VREFIO is the reference voltage for all 4 DACs. IOUTFS = 32 x VREFIO/xRSET. REFIO can be from an internal band gap reference or an external reference up to 1.25V.

2. IOUTFS is for each DAC not for all 4 summed together. IOUTFS = 8ma is the maximum setting for AVDD = 3.3V

3. Bit 6

4. Yes. Go to the next larger range in either case

5. No

6. No. Once will do.

On 4.2, what register(s) should be adjusted for the RSET_CAL_OF/UF?

I still need to know about "On 4.2, what register(s) should be adjusted for the RSET_CAL_OF/UF?".

Also, for GAIN_CAL_OF/UF is there a better method other than increasing all DACxRANGE?  For instance, how can I determine which of the four ranges to increase when the GAIN_CAL_OF/UF flag is set during calibration?

Hi -

1. There is no adjustment for RSET_CAL_OF/UF. You just try cal again if one of these are set.

2. Bit fields in register 0x08 are all we have.
