Hi,
Is the AD9102 chip recommended for new designs? If not, are there any alternatives that you would recommend?
Thanks

Hello,
No, it is being obsoleted. There is no equivalent replacement, so recommendation would depend on your application.

i need something that would be able to do bursts of sine waves of which i will be able to control the frequency and amplitude. would really appreciate any suggestions thanks
Hello,
I suggest you look into one of our DDS product, AD9859.

Hello,
i would also like to know what replacement would be recommended in my case. I'm also using the AD9102 at the moment to generate arbitrary waveform signals. I've found only two ICs (AD9102 and AD9106) that are in the range of +150MSPs with integrated RAM and waveform generation capabilities. Is there another chip with similar properties available?
Many Thanks in advance!
Hello,
Unfortunately we don't have other high-speed DAC with integrated RAM. We do have micro-controllers with on-chip RAM and DAC, but I think they are lower speed.
