Is it possible to create sinusoidal wave using AD9717? If so, how? The DPG Palette on the evaluation board software has an example simple sine generator, but the page is blank. Would appreciate any guidance.

furthermore, when you do create a sine wave, would you be able to clarify what digital code in terms of units of amplitude means?
You do not need to create the vector code - there is a vector generator capability built into DPGDownloader.
On the main launch screen of DPGDownloader select "Add Generated Waveform" and there is a "single-tone" selection you can choose.
Then you need to input your data rate and desired frequency etc as my previous screenshot shows.
