AD9164 SPI communication

SPI doesn't need DAC clock to talk to the chip. Could you read back register values 0x003-0x006 and report the values. what SPI settings are using for this communication?

Thank you for your reply. I am using 4 wire SPI communication mode 

Trying to set reg x0000 to x18 so that DAC is in 4 wire mode. 

but SDO signal line is always high.register range 0x0003 to 0x0006 are all FF.

SDIO,SCLK and CS are all signals are as expected. 

There might be a SPI HW issue here. Do you happen to have access to the SPI pins to see if they toggle as expected when you send a command to the DAC?

Would it be possible to let the EngineerZone readers know how you solved this problem?
