single ended use

Hello, 

I want to use AD9229 for my ADC circuits but I have some concerns. In my project I plan to read 0-2V range DC analog signal with single ended way. In datasheet, there is a typical single ended circuit diagram. In there, 1k pull-up and down tied to AVDD and GND. For DC analog signal, are those resistors necessary?

Can I read 0-2V range analog signal without clipping with single ended configuration?

AVDD level must be higher than my 2V level?

    Thank you for using AD9229.

    1. The analog inputs of the AD9229 are not internally dc biased. In dc-coupled applications, the user must provide this bias externally. It is important to ensure that the source impedances on each input are matched and that the analog input is properly biased to the common-mode voltage (AVDD/2).
    2. The analog input range for the AD9229 is 2 Vpp, which means it expects signals swinging from -1 V to +1 V. If you apply a 0 to 2 V signal, it will exceed this range and cause clipping. To avoid this, you can use a differential amplifier to either attenuate the signal or shift it so that the 0–2 V input becomes centered around 0 V (i.e., from -1 V to +1 V).
    3. The AVDD level for the AD9229 should be 3.0 V.
