I need an ADC chip or a development board that can achieve sampling rates of 250 MSPS on dual channels or 500 MSPS on a single channel (alternatively, 500 MSPS on dual channels and 1000 MSPS on a single channel would also be acceptable).
For this purpose, I reviewed the AD9286 ADC and the EVAL-AD9286 evaluation board.
However, as shown in the attached schematic, the inputs of the two channels are shorted together on the ADC board. This configuration does not meet my requirements.
I’m unsure whether it would be appropriate to redesign a custom board using this ADC to enable operation in either dual-channel or single-channel (interleaved) mode.
Is the AD9286 suitable for this application?
Are there any other ADC chips or development boards available that support interleaved operation and can work in both dual- and single-channel configurations?
