Hi,
We have single ended 200 Mhz signal and Nyquist suggests minimum 400MSPS ADC for get 2 Sample. i'd like to get samples more then 2 and i can't upgrade MSPS because of budget. If we use single channel mode , can we clocking in different times to ADC branches to generate multiple samples on one period?
For example,
First branch starts on t time, second is t+1 time third is t+n time(totally 5ns) and finally i'm gonna get to get samples more then 2.
Is it possible for this IC?
I'm begginer to ADC universe so sorry for bad questions.

Hi,
I have moved this question about hmcad1520 to the High-Speed ADCs forum. Someone here should be able to assist you.
Thanks,

Hi ZCeyhun
Thanks for using HMCAD1520.
It is capable of running up to 1 GSPS with 8-bit resolution in single channel mode configuration. This done by interleaving the 4 internal ADC to increase the sampling rate. (In Single Channel Mode, one of the four inputs can be selected as valid input to the single ADC channel).

Hi Jalipio,
as far as i understand, If I use single mode 8 bit 1GSPS, IC will work internally 4x250 MSPS and They will be sampling at different times, right? Yes, you are correct.

Thank you JAlipio.
