Hi,

If you can’t capture data, but everything else seems fine, most likely the issue is caused by the value of the number of samples that need to be captured - the number should be a multiple of the DMA bus width. For this design, capture minimum 1024 samples (the default 400 value IIO-Oscilloscope start with is invalid).

Hi Doug,

I run into anther separate issue. The ADC was super hot yesterday when I first tried it, but today it is 'cold' as room temperature. I measured the input voltage is 12V. So the ADC might get damaged due to the overheating.  We bought it from Mouser in March. How can get a replacement? Should I contact ADI or Mouser?

Our ADC SN is 00008.

Can you point me to the right person if you are not the one for the replacement?

I was planning to try change the sample numbers today, but I run into anther separate issue. The ADC was super hot yesterday when I first tried it, but today it is 'cold' as room temperature. After a new part was replaced, ADI IIO Oscilloscope works. But I ended with "Unable to load DLL 'libiio.dll':The specified module could not be found" when I run Visual Analog.  I found a old thread and I tried all the options there,  I still got the same error.  Any hint? Thanks. 

P.S. I use MS Windows.

 Visual Analog doesn't find libiio.dll, but libiio is installed in the computer.
