I'm looking at the evaluation boards for the AD9680 chip and noticed that specific ones come with an on-board crystal oscillator. I'm assuming this oscillator provides the necessary device clock for the ADC chip, but does it also provide the device clock for the FPGA connected via the FMC connector?

The on-board crystal oscillator can be populated as an ADC clock alone. As for the FPGA clock, there is a provision for external clocking from the evaluation board - REFCLK_TO_FPGA as shown in the figure.
