How can I use ADC?(AD9222)

Category: Hardware
Product Number: AD9222

I Recently bought AD9222 (AD9222-65EBZ) and Evaluation board HSC-ADC-EVALCZ.

I  just want to implement simple task- Periodic sample analog voltage and save it in FPGA, but i don't have enough knowledge in this Field.

There are 2 questions in total

1. Can I get sample code about these devices?

2. Do I need additional board to use these devices? (There are 3 connector in evaluation board, but ADC has just 1 connector. I wonder if I need a board that connects the two boards)

Thanks a lot.

Hello SOh,

Thank you for your interest in AD9222. However, please note that this product is already tagged as NRND (Not Recommended for New Designs).

If you are designing new system, I recommend AD9257 which is of similar type; Octal, 12-Bit, 65MSPS Serial LVDS 1.8V ADC but with better performance.

If you would like to pursue the evaluation of the AD9222 board, can you try to use AD9257 user guide EVALUATING THE AD9257/AD9637 ANALOG-TO-DIGITAL CONVERTERS [Analog Devices Wiki] as reference.

We'll check if the FPGA source code for AD9222 is still available and will send it to your email address.

Regards,

Meriam
