Dynamic range DC1281A

Product Number: dc1281a

I'm using the DC1281A along with the DC890 evaluation board in order to measure a 5MHz 0-300mV sine wave with a 25MHz 1vpp clock signal.

In the Pscope software, I see a 5MHz square wave, not sine. All the points are either in "0" or in full scale.

What is exactly the voltage range of this conversor or what can i be doing wrong?

Regards.

Hi,

As stated in the datasheet, the analog input range for LT2209 is typically 1.5 or 2.25 Vp-p. Can you try increasing your input if it shows an improvement?

Additionally, you can also refer to the user guide DC1281A-LTC2209 Evaluation Kit Quick Start Guide (analog.com). The 1281A demo board has several versions, kindly check if you are using the correct one that match your sampling rate and input frequency.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Meriam
