After you write 0x0D = 0x02, could you try reading 0x0D to confirm if the data was properly written?

Could you check if there is a clock input is present?

Thank you for your answer.My ad9257 has a clock input because I grabbed the fco waveform.I will try to read it as you suggest, but at the moment I have a problem with my schematic which is causing me to fail.

The reason why I did not enter the debug output mode was because the sclk was clamped in my spi circuit, which I later solved by using a pull-up resistor.
