DC890B and AD1281A Data Collection Timeout

Hello everyone.

I bought the DC890B and the AD1281A to measure some high speed analog signals. 

I followed the quick start procedure, provide a clock signal 3Vpp, 5Mhz, 50ohm to the ADC, plugged it to the DC890 board

But I keep getting the "Data collection timeout. Please check if clock signal is on" error message.

Could anyone point me in the right direction here?
