AD9253 Multi Chip Synchronization

Hi!

We are Planning to use Multiple AD9253-105 (across Boards) with Length matched Sampling clock to achieve Phase Matching.

Our Requirement are as follows,

Output Freq: 75MHz

Sampling Freq: 100MHz(no divider is utilized in ADC)

Phase matching: <30ps

Query:

1)Is it possible to achieve our Phase matching Requirement with the selected part AD9253-105?

2) What would be Part to part Latency variation? will this latency be deterministic or will it vary from Power on to Power ON based on Temperature and Voltages?

3)Please share the Test Results demonstrating Phase matching Accuracy using AD9253-105.

    1)Is it possible to achieve our Phase matching Requirement with the selected part AD9253-105?

    Yes, you can use the SYNC signal of AD9253 to achieve multichip synchronization and phase matching requirement.

    2) What would be Part to part Latency variation? will this latency be deterministic or will it vary from Power on to Power ON based on Temperature and Voltages?

    Yes, it may vary from power on to power on and we recommend synchronizing after power cycle.

    3)Please share the Test Results demonstrating Phase matching Accuracy using AD9253-105.

    I am not sure if we have this kind of data but, I'll ask if we have data for the phase matching accuracy.

    You can also refer to AD9643 CHANNEL/CHIP SYNCHRONIZATION section for reference since the AD9643 has the same SYNC function with AD9253.
