AD9635 PN9 Sequence

Category: Datasheet/Specs
Product Number: AD9635

I'm confused about the description of the PN9 sequence in the AD9635 datasheet.

The text says that the seed value is all ones, which, for a 9-bit register, equals to 0x1FF. When trying to generate the first 12 values for that generator, i'm getting the following sequence (MSB is left):

111111111
111111110
111111100
111111000
111110000
111100000
111000001
110000011
100000111
000001111
000011110
000111101

When assembling the MSBs of the first 12 output words of that generator, I'm getting 1111_1111_1000 which is 0xFF8. But Table 11 (PN Sequence) in the datasheet says that the initial value for the PN9 (short) sequence is 0x7F8.

What am I getting wrong?
