AD9642-250 ADC performance at 1.2GHz

Hi

we are looking an ADC with FPBW of 1.2GHz. During our search came across AD9642-250 device.

Data sheet says the FPBW of the device is 1GHz(Typical Value) also the AC Specifications are given for Input Frequency upto 220MHz only.

Can any one share the SNR/SFDR/SINAD of this Device for Fin =1.2GHz preferably with 2.0V p-p signal

hi, please use AD9684. it is better suited for your application use case.

The input swing for AD9684 is 1.4Vp-p at Fin = 1.2 GHz.

Because of this reason I have asked for AC specifications of AD9642-250 for Fin =1.2GHz with 2.0V p-p signal.

at 2.0V Fin, you are not going to get that much better noise performance, as the linearity will suffer. you can test this out on an evaluation board.

Thank you for the Information.

My Actual query was about SNR/SFDR/SINAD at Fin = 1.2 GHz for AD9642-250 device. These figures will help me in finalising the ADC for my Design.

AD9684 is also under consideration. If data for AD9642 is available it will help further.

FPBW on AD9642 says it is about 1GHz. We do not have any data beyond the frequencies listed in the datasheet.
