Looking for four channel, 12 bit min, 50MSPS ADC solution, with ZC706 solution

My customer needs four channels, 12 bit min (14 or 16 would be better), 50MSPS ADC solution, looking for Linux drivers to use with ZC706. A single ADC would work, but if we have a solution that used two dual ADCs, that would be fine too.

I'm looking at he AD9259 and the AD9656. Are the Linux drivers set up or these parts to use with ZC706?

    Hi Steve,

    How would the Linux drivers be used, and where would they be run? (I'm sorry, I'm not software fluent).

    • If you are looking for an API, we do not have this for AD9259 or AD9656.
    • We can share the FPGA source code we use for capturing data on our FPGA boards, if that would help.
    • There are some DLLs that VisualAnalog (evaluation software) uses to access and control the part. These DLLs can be used by other software (e.g. MATLAB) to access and control the ADC. These DLLs are available to customers.

    I don't think any of these qualify as Linux Drivers, but please let me know if you would like more information on them.

    Hi Doug, the customer is looking for a four channel ADC eval solution that he can plug into his ZC706 board. He would be using IIOScope just to verify that the system is working, and would then like to write his own software, using the Linux drivers present on the system to be able to process the streaming data coming through the ADC. You can reach me directly if more information will help, I don't want to reveal to much info on the app on this forum. I think though that if we don't have an API for the AD9259 or AD9656, I don't think we can provide a solution for him for these parts.
