Hi to all,
Im planing to use the ad9283-80 with an fpga. Im looking for some guideance about clocking the adc. Is it possible to use an external clock (instead of using the fpga to clock the adc) to avoid jitter in the clock?

yes. we recommend using an external low noise clock compared to an fpga clock. that said, the ADC is only 8-bits and the noise performance will most likely be quantization limited. you could try an fpga derived clock as an option. if the performance meets your specification, no need to spend additional $$$ on an expensive clocking solution.
