Minimum Frequency of Inputs for AD9214 and AD6644

  Good morning.  I have a customer inquiring as to how low the freqeuncy of a signal can be to drive the analog inputs of the AD9214-105 and the AD6644-65.  He needs to be able to accommodate some signals that will be in the range from 50KHz - 100KHz.

  Can either or both of these parts handle a signal frequency this low if using the AD8138 in a DC coupled circuit?

  Also, what is the life expectancy of each of these parts?  In other words, does ADI have an expected PDN date for each of these parts?  Thank you.

    I started the design (and layout) with the AD9214 but I am questioning my wisdom due to the end of the device.

    The AD9215 is also not a new comer, but its a little newer and the Eval boards are available (I was told the AD9214 Eval boards were not available from Avnet inside sales).

    For the DC-coupling of AD9214, I simply went with the suggestion in Fig 9 p13, (actually closer to the Figure 47 p22 in AD8138 data sheet). 

    Question: With the AD8138 and AD9214/AD9215, can I get nice sampling of Log Video pulses, maybe 1 msec wide?  This is essentially all positive DC sampling.  We want 8+ bits of dynamic range.  Any EOL issues with the devices?
