Does the AD9625-2.0EBZ work with the Xilinx evaluation board VC707?

Dear community,

After having some bad luck with the newest AD9625 evaluation board AD-FMCADC2-EBZ FMC (the two we tried were most probably D.O.A), AVNET recommended to us to use the somewhat older AD9625-2.0EBZ. This evaluation board is meant to be used in combo with the corresponding AD data grabber board (featuring a Virtex-6 FPGA with VADJ = 2.5V).

However, we need to process received data in real time, thus we would prefer to use the board in combo with a VC707 featuring a Virtex-7 FPGA with VADJ = 1.8V. The pinning of the FMC connector seems to be fine but we are wondering if the the lower VADJ of the Virtex-7 (1.8V) might pose a problem?

Best regards

Chris

    Hi Chris-

Unfortunately, the AD-FMCADC2-EBZ FMC is the intended evaluation card to interface with a Xilinx development kit.

The AD9625-2.0EBZ and AD9625-2.5EBZ have not been tested with VC707.

    Thanks,

    Ian Beavers
