Does your ADC made from a magnetic body?

Dear Sir/madam,

Maybe this question is applied for your whole products.

If so, please replace this to there thanks.

Does your AD9680 made from a magnetic body?

When the around temp is 13C to 161C, AD9680 become a magnetic body, correct?

I confirmed your material declaration for AD9680.

So I found that AD9680 use Sn for plating or solder sphere finish on there.

The beta-tin(temp. 13C to 161C) have the paramagnetism as you know.

On the other hand, the alpha-tin(temp under 13C) have the diamagnetism.

Our customer will put AD9680 in strong magnetic field like a MRI.

So this info is very important for him.

Thanks Kaos

  • Hi Umesh,

    Thank you for your reply.

    I got it.

And I have already contacted regional FAE of you ADI, and have got the additional comment also.

    In addition, how about AD9234?

Our customer have put AD9234 for hard magnetic field product on his BOM.

I confirmed your web page for AD9234.

It seems the same as AD9680 not apply for magnetic -field like a closing MRI, correct?

    AD9234 doesnt have EP model.

    Thanks Kaos
