AD9224 Output Delay maximum spec

Hi All,

AD9224 data sheet indicates the output delay is 13ns minimum.

My customer would like to know its maximum value.

Please let us know it?

Best Regards,

Ricky

    Hello,

The AD9224 is an ADC product released over 17 years ago.  Ideally, ADI should have specified a max number also for a C_Load=20 pF but unfortunately did not.   We would not be in a position to specify max today since this would require additional device characterization that would be time consuming for a vintage product.   That said............considering that the min delay is specified 13 nsec with the max perhaps being 18 nsec (reasonable guess), I would suggest that the customer use the "rising edge" of clock to latch the output data since this should give ample set-up and hold-time..
