I'm using DC890B and DC1282A-A.
But in datasheet, the DC1282A-A has a sampling capacity of 160Msps, with an analog input greater the 160MHz.
Currently, I am using broadband pulses in the 200MHz and 400MHz ranges.
In this case, Can't I use a frequency below 160MHz when using DC1282A-A?
And what is the limit of the input range of DC1282A-A?
Don't confuse sample rate with analog input bandwidth. The sample rate is 160Msps, but the analog input bandwidth is ~700MHz. The ADC can digitize frequencies much higher than the sample rate by undersampling. The analog input of the ADC is limited by the RC network of the source impedance and the sample cap 4.6pF.
