I have bought an AD9269-80EBZ evaluation board for real time data capture application. I have a Xilinx Virtex 5 board and I want to interface AD9260 board with Virtex 5 for data acquisition. Can someone please provide me an example SPI programming code and a data capture code for Virtex 5.
Also, I am having hard time finding the interface connector for AD9269 and Vitex5. Ad9269 eval board comes with outputs on z-pack connector(male) and Virtex5 connects with berg stick connectors (male). Can you please point me to a connector that can be used to interface the two.

The FPGA we use to capture AD9269 outputs is the Xilinx Virtex4 (on HSC-ADC-EVALCZ). Sample FPGA code for AD9269 data capture can be found here . This is provided:
SPI communication follows the guidelines in AN-877, which is found on our website ( https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/application-notes/AN-877.pdf ).
I'm sorry but I do not know of any adaptor/interposer that will connect the AD9269 evaluation board to a Berg stick connector. I think you will have to make your own, maybe with a ribbon cable, or something similar.
The AD9269 connector pin assignments can be found in the AD9269 evaluation board user guide, UG-003 .

Thanks for your answers. We did buy the FPGA to capture AD9269 outputs, the Xilinx Virtex4 (on HSC-ADC-EVALCZ). I installed the VisualAnalog software on my PC and when I brought up the entire set up (AD9269+HSC-ADC-EVALCZ+Desktop) the first time, everything worked seamlessly. I was able to see the ADC performance on VisualAnalog. After working for about 4 hours, I switched off the set up (disconnected the supplies for both boards and removed the USB connection). When I came back after 1 hour and switched ON the whole set up, I see that the VisualAnalog is not detecting the FPGA board. I tried re-installing the software with and without internet. I also tried all different possible combinations of switching on ADC and control boards and connecting it to PC. Also tried on multiple machines. Nothing is helping.
The set up worked only once, the first time for 3-4 hours. I suspect that there are some temp files that might have got generated first time and not being cleared, which might be causing the problem. The FPGA is getting detected as an 'Unknown device' (shown in device manager image attached). I tried updating the drivers for it in vain.

I'm sorry about the trouble! VisualAnalog has been very stable and robust for me. I have not needed to worry about temp files not being cleared, or things like that.
On the FPGA board, are the LEDs for both power and USB lit?You mention trying on multiple machines. Did each different PC react in the same way?
I'm sorry I have not experienced this problem and do not have an answer for you. I'll ask some of my colleagues about this.

I tried on multiple machines having different OSs (windows 7, windows 10 etc.). All the PCs reacted the same way, i.e they detect it as 'Unknown Device'.
I came across a document on the VisualAnalag download page document, which talks about a known problem of this device being detected as a 'Blackfin Device'. Though it is not the same case here, I tried the same work around, but in vain. Similarly, I tried pointing the 'Update Driver' option that comes on right click, to different folders in the installation directory. It says the drivers could not be found.
I kindly request you to help me with this, as I have no idea how to proceed further with this now. I have tried many different things like I mentioned, in the last three days, but nothing worked.

Yes, the HSC-ADC-EVALCZ does not have a Blackfin.
