Power Consumption in AD10242

Hello!

As per datasheet:

AD10242 : 12 BIT, 40MSPS, Dual ADC, 1750mW Power

If I use this ADC at a lower sampling rate say 10 - 20MSPS (if its possible) and single channel,  then power is reduced or not? If yes, then let me know.

    Hello Darshil,

    The minimum conversion rate for the AD10242 is 5 MSPS, however the dynamic performance is only guaranteed for 40MSPS. I don't see where we have characterized supply current vs sample rate in the past. However, we used to offer a variant of the AD10242 that was tested at 30MSPS and we did see a minimal current reduction of ~2-3mA on the Avcc supply which is very minimal compared to the 260mA typical for that supply.
