AD9517-4 doesn't work

Hi engineer ：

I want to use HSC-ADC-EVALCZ to configure my AD9517-4 circuit.The scheme as follows.

The Interface is same as AD9484-500EBZ. Then I loaded AD9517_for_AD9268EVB.cfg and AD9517_for_AD9268EVB.cal file through SPI Controller.The files as follows.

AD9517-4 cofigure files.zip

Then I test the waveform use oscilloscope of AD9517-4 signal.

REF input (differential)

chip select

SCLK

SDI

SDO

But I test nothing on the out5 and out3(always zero level).What's wrong about.Thank you very much.

Hi,

The optional AD9517 clock circuit was never debugged on the AD9434 / AD9484 evaluation board, and no software or documentation is included. I would suggest to use an AD9517 evaluation board to drive the clock input to the AD9484 evaluation board if you want to evaluate them together.

Thank you David.I have bought AD9517-4 evaluation board from mouser.I can test and study it.But finally we will use FPGA or USB configure our AD9517-4 circuit.Is there any support?

May be the above signal waveform can check.Are they correct ?And Is the circuit correct?Thank you very much.

Hi,

I confirmed with the clock team that there is no FPGA code to control the AD9517, you will need to develop that if you need it. There is software to drive the AD9517 evaluation board directly from a PC's USB port.
